Jun 2010-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for International Lease Finance Corporation on the Spectrum 737 and 757 from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 10 shipsets consisting of three configurations.


May 2010-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for on the Spectrum A320 configuration from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 1000 pax in 2010.


Jan 2010-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production on the Brit Air Regional seat model for the configuration from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. As part of their new product offering, we expect to deliver approximately 1000 pax over the next year.


11/09/09-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for on the Minipod XM seat model configuration for the 777-300ER and the A330-200 from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. As part of their new product offering, we expect to deliver approximately 1,200 pax over the next four years.


11/02/09-Torrington Distributors is proud to announce the opening of its Winston-Salem, North Carolina facility for live production on 11/23/09. The facility will be utilized for light production and onsite support of one of the world's leading seating manufacturers.

5/27/09-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for on the Spectrum II configuration from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 9 shipsets.

4/23/09-Torrington Distributors was recently highlighted in a Guest Article featured in Magazine. The article featured Gerber Technology and outlined their role in enhancing the Lean Manufacturing in the Aerospace Industry. Torrington Distributors currently owns two Gerber Taurus XM Leather cutters.

3/05/09-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for Airlines on three aircraft configurations from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 10 shipsets over a 12 month period.


12/22/08-Torrington Distributors has provided with approximately 10,000 +/- spare/replacement seat cover components fleet wide of both Business and Economy class configurations delivered over the past 3 years.


12/16/08-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for Saudi Arabian Airlines on a two class configuration from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 50 shipsets of each configuration.


12/11/08-Torrington Distributors has been awarded the OEM production for on a premium class configuration from one of the world's leading seating manufacturers. Program scope is approximately 90+/- shipsets.

10/17/08- Torrington Distributors has acquired a 15,000sqft facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Operational targets are for the 2nd quarter 2009 and the facility will be utilized for light production and onsite support of one of the world's leading seating manufacturers.
